Central Coast Future Leaders

Leadership training and academic and personal development opportunities for young people and their families.

We're very proud of what we do!

Our Mission

Central Coast Future Leaders is a community benefit, youth-led organization that supports the development of youth and families through education, service to community, advocacy, and leadership and personal development in a culturally affirming environment.

Our Vision

To elevate and inspire youth to achieve success and empowerment as leaders in their community.

Our History
CCFL began in 1993 in Santa Maria with local leadership. In 1999, CCFL merged with FLA, Inc. of Ventura County. In the spring of 2012, local Future Leaders, with the support of community members, incorporated Central Coast Future Leaders, Inc. with the intention of strengthening local programming and services and operating independently of FLA, Inc.

What We Do
CCFL, Inc. builds on the value of local leadership  at all levels. Each and every activity of the organization is designed, implemented, and evaluated by the youth.  Every program activity is an invitation to the youth to strengthen their skills, teach and give to others, and expand their individual and collective activism.
